(1) If any national sports association or federation violates any of the conditions under section 28, the council may direct the concerned association to comply with such conditions for a specified period.
(2) If any union does not comply with the instructions given by the council within the period as per sub-section (1), the council may suspend such union for up to three months.
(3) If an application is made to release the suspension in accordance with the instructions given under sub-section (1), the council shall release the suspension of such association after conducting the necessary investigation in that regard.
(4) If the suspension of an association is not lifted within the period as per sub-section (2), the council may dissolve the existing working committee of such association and form an ad hoc working committee of such association with the condition that another working committee should be elected or formed within three months.
(5) According to sub-section (4), if the ad hoc committee does not elect or form another working committee within three months, the council may cancel the registration by taking action against the association registered in the council.
(6) The council shall provide the information as per sub-sections (4) and (5) to the Ministry, Nepal Olympic Committee and the international sports association or federation of the relevant sport.
(7) Before deciding to suspend or cancel any national sports association or federation, the Council shall give such association or federation an opportunity to submit its justification.
